Karen S. Acree joined W&T in September, 2007. Ms. Acree has 25 years of public company accounting and financial reporting experience, including most recently as Vice President and Controller of Bois d'Arc Energy, Inc., an NYSE-traded company. Prior to joining Bois d'Arc, Ms. Acree was with Global Santa Fe Corporation, beginning her career there in 1982, holding the position of Assistant Controller at the time she left the company in March 2006. She earned a B.B.A. in accounting from Texas Tech University, and is a member of the Texas Society and Houston chapter of Certified Public Accountants.
Paul R. Baker joined W&T as Vice President of Production in December, 2008, and was promoted to Vice President and General Manager of our Onshore Business Unit in July 2012. Paul has over 35 years of E&P operations experience onshore, offshore, domestic and international. From 2007 through 2008 he was the Chief Operating Officer for High Mount Exploration and Production in Houston. From 2002 through 2007, Paul served as the Senior Vice President and GM, Eastern Operations for Dominion Exploration and Production. Mr. Baker worked for Santa Fe Energy Resources and its successor Devon Energy from 1982 until 2002, where he held positions of increasing responsibility and leadership in engineering, operations and management for a wide variety of domestic and international producing basins. He began his career in 1976, working as an engineer in South Texas for Halliburton Services and the HNG Oil Company. Paul is a 1975 graduate of Southern Methodist University with a BS in Civil Engineering and also holds an MBA from The University of Houston.
Steven M. Freeman joined W&T in April 2009 and was promoted to Vice President, Land & Business Development in September 2011. Mr. Freeman has 35 years of domestic and international petroleum land management, business development and negotiating experience. Prior to joining W&T, Mr. Freeman held executive positions with Halliburton Energy Services, Buttonwood Petroleum and MAPCO Oil and Gas. He earned a BBA in Management from the University of Oklahoma. He is a member of the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators and the American Association of Professional Landmen.
Todd E. Grabois joined W&T as Vice President and Treasurer in July, 2006. Mr. Grabois was most recently Chief Financial Officer for Texas Independent Exploration LTD, from 2001 to 2006. Prior to joining Texas Independent, he was with Benz Energy, Inc. and Texstar Petroleum for 17 years, serving in various positions, including Treasurer and Secretary. Mr. Grabois has a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Delaware.
Gregory E. Percival joined W&T Offshore in early 2006 as the Vice President of Information Technology. Mr. Percival has over 15 years of outstanding results in positions with increasing responsibilities. Prior to joining the company, Greg worked for a global chemical company called Kraton Polymers for approximately 5 years in various technology management positions. In his last position at Kraton, he served as the Chief Information Officer. In 2000, Greg joined ClearSource, Inc. as their Director of Information Systems. Mr. Percival is a graduate of the University of Houston where he earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management Information Systems. In addition, Greg earned his Master of Business Administration degree in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix.
Joseph P. Slattery joined our Company in November 2002 as our Vice President of Operations until 2005, served as our Senior Vice President of Operations from 2005 until January 2011 and currently serves as our Vice President, Drilling and HR&E. For more than eight years prior thereto, he was a major shareholder and president of Crescent Drilling and Production, Inc., a private consulting engineering firm specializing in total project management and field operations. Mr. Slattery also has prior experience in drilling, completion and well intervention work with McMoRan Exploraiton Company. He received a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Louisiana State University in 1974 and a M.S. in Petroleum Engineering from Colorado School of Mines in 1976.
W. Allen Tate joined W&T as Vice President, Marketing & Midstream in August 2006. Mr. Tate has over thirty years of industry experience and was most recently Director of Producer Services for Noble Energy Marketing, Inc. Prior to joining Noble, he was a Business Development Director for Southern Union, Director of Business Development and Supply for CMS Field Services, and Director of Marketing for CMS Energy. Prior to that, Mr. Tate held various management positions in Marketing, Marketing Operations, Business Development & Supply and Gas Measurement with Duke Energy, PanEnergy, Panhandle Eastern Corporation and Hytech Energy. Mr. Tate has a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin.
Clifford J. Williams currently serves as our Vice President and General Manager Offshore, responsible for Business Unit Delivery and Management of our Offshore Assets. Previously, Mr. Williams served as Vice President of Reservoir Engineering and Development Geology from 2011 until July 2012. He joined W&T as Staff Reservoir Engineer in 1998, becoming Chief Reservoir Engineer in 2002, Reservoir Engineering Manager in 2003 and Vice President of Reservoir Engineering in 2005. Prior to joining our Company, Mr. Williams served as a Reservoir and Facilities Engineer with Exxon and later as a Reservoir Engineer with Collarini Engineering, Inc. Mr. Williams received a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida in 1977 and an M.S. in Environmental Engineering from Tulane University in 1995. |
